This is by far the best option for those wanting to sell on-line, but have little to no web experience. No programming code is required to set up your shop, you don't have to worry about application upgrades, and there is free 24/7 support to answer your questions.

Option #2 – Install ZenCart on a Southern Star Hosting Account

ZenCart is by far the best eCommerce application for the professional seller. It is "open Source" and free. This is better suited for the larger retailer, and it requires an experienced web master to setup and maintain. The web master has far more control over the creating a custom look and many more options — but it is not for the faint of heart. Additionally, the web master will need to apply the upgrades and revisions required to stay one step ahead of the hackers. In the Quick Cart in Options #1, the Southern Star Hosting Support people keep the Quick Cart application up to date for you.

All Southern Star Hosting web hosting accounts have access to the 1-click installation of ZenCart, and while it eliminates the hosting customer having to create a database, database user, FTP the application to the server, and run the installation script — you still have configure the features and create your custom "Look and Feel" of the store.

ZenCart will give your the most control over features, and the look of the store — but you should have some experience with the installation and configuring semi-complicated php applications; and have the time needed to go through the learning curve before attempting to put together a ZenCart store.

Option #3 – Have us create a Turn-Key ZenCart Store for you

MoparStyle Racing can provide different levels of help to create a ZenCart Store for you, on your Big Kahuna Hosting Account. Installation of the most current version of ZenCart, operational set-up, basic configuration, and creating the custom look and feel you desire will cost $1,499 – plus the hosting and SSL Certificate. At that point, most non-programmers who are comfortable with computers can set up their store sections and credit card authorizations; shipping and sale tax tables; and other basic set up and product entry by using ZenCart's excellent documentation. While there is a slight learning curve before most become comfortable administering their store, the free documentation is very good, and once the store is set up — it is low maintenance.
