These were the pistons and rods that was in a 360 block that propelled a 3200# Demon to 10.6s. It was a special recipe that Diamondback Engines used with Indy 360 heads and an forged Eagle Crank. They're SRP pistons (4.030/1.350 Compression height/+5.00cc Piston Volume/.927 wrist pin) for a Ford with forged rod (6.250", .927 pin, 3.25" bearing bore) that goes into a .030 360 block. It worked great as a combination. There appears to have been a head gasket leak and one piston may need to be replaced from some pitting. I think it cleaned up just find, but you may not. I posted detailed photos for you to Judge for yourself. Old rings are still on. Note: the cap and rod number differ in some cases, however be assured that the caps in the rods are exactly as machinist had engine builder used, and how motor was run. I put the correct cap on rod as I disassembled.
