Rude Dodge

Rude Dodge Prior to its NSS Career
Rude Dodge is a 65 Coronet that we bought off of Big Jim Marsh. It came
with a 451, a trans-brake 727, and a leaf spring Dana with 4.10
gears.
After a season of playing around in the 11.4 second range, it was taken to Texas
Thunder and converted to be one of the fastest cars in NSS
(Nostalgia Super Stock).
The hood, deck lid, fenders, doors and bumpers are now fiberglass.
The rear is a ladder-bar setup with a back-braced Ford 9".
The motor
is a 540CI Mega motor, the transmission is a Jerico 4-speed, and
the clutch is a Bonfante. Wilwood 4-wheel disks and a set of wheelie
bars complete the package.
Texas Thunder is putting the finishing touches on the car, and
it will be ready to pick up in early November 2004. Dave will race it in the FX class of NSS in 2005.
