Web Design

When I'm not at the track, or in the shop working on the cars — I'm developing web sites.

While I specialize in tasteful web sites that can be quickly on-line, and maintained by those without knowing programming code — I can handle just about anything having to do with the internet.

  • Big Forums: I can quickly install and set up vBulletin forums capable of tens of thousands of members, hundreds on-line at the same time, posting hundreds of thousands of posts. I can handle all of the graphics, the forum arraignment, configuration of features, and install any of the popular hacks. I can set the board up with the best SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for the greatest search engine exposure. Big boards can make big money with advertising. Examples of vBulletin boards I've set up are:

  • Portals: I can quickly set up and install a variety of Portals, which are domain landing pages. Examples include:

  • Classified ad sites: I can quickly install and set up a classified ad web site for everything from dating to real estate. I can set the classified ad site to be stand alone, or to work seamlessly with your bulletin board. You can offer frees ads, or charge for the ads or optional upgrades to free ads. You have options like offering free ads to your board's "Premium Members" and charge for others to use. You can configure the site to be an eBay style auction site. Examples of Classified Ad web sites are:

  • Photo Web Sites: These are sites which you can store, shore and/or archive tens of thousands of your families photos in hundreds of categories. You can grant access to family and friends to also upload to the albums. You can seamlessly attached to a bulletin board and give members access to the photo albums — either free or as a "Premium Member" benefit. You can sell photo hosting. You can control who has access to view, upload or comment by albums. You can control if there is a watermark or not on the photo, by album and/or user type. Examples of Photo Albums include:

  • Wiki Sites: I'm sure you all have heard of Wikipedia. Well the exact same software that they use can be installed to create a wiki site specializing in any topic — or groups of topics. Not only can I set this up — but I can use the vBulletin's membership database as a bridge to where board members can move between the board and the wiki on their same log in. And example of this is a newly set up MoparWiki – which specializes in the cars and people of Mopar.

  • On-Line Stores - eCommerce: I've set up quite a few very complicated to set up, yet very powerful ZenCart eCommerce sites. I can install the application, set up the catalog, hook you up with a credit card payment processor, set up sales tax and shipping, and a look & feel custom to you. Examples of ZenCarts sites include:

  • WordPress Sites: One of the quickest, least expensive, and easiest to maintain (without knowing programming code) sites is a Word Press site. This is a Word Press site. I can install, setup, design the custom viewing style and graphics, and add any of the 1000s of features available — and then turn over a site that a complete novice can manage. Other of my Word Press sites include:

  • Banner Advertising: Sell banner advertising on your web site using OpenX banner server application. Sell banners by the number of impressions, the number of clicks, of by a flat month/year rate. This application allows your advertisers to build their own campaigns, change their banners, and view reports. Active web sites can make tens of thousands a year by selling banner advertising on their sites. I have the experience to install, setup and configure this application — and turn it over to a novice user to maintain. Once set up properly — all there is to maintain is setting up new customers.

  • Cafe Press: Have an idea for products to sell at a CafePress store — but you suck at graphics and setting up the store? I can set up your store for you and create your products — and you sit back and collect the monthly checks. Examples of Cafe Press Stores:

  • Adsense & eBay Partners: Want to get Google and eBay ads on your site for the income — but don't know how. I can handle it for you.

  • Got a web site that needs a tune up? I can do it.

What else do you want to do on the Internet? I can do it. I've been playing with the Internet before Al Gore invented it.
